British novelist Robert Harris is one of my favorite authors, penning such masterpieces as Fatherland, Archangel, and the Ghost (which was recently brought to the big screen as The Ghost Writer). I am proud to say that after reading Conspirata Robert Harris delivers once again! When I originally picked up Imperium, Conspirata’s predecessor, I was very skeptical that a book about Roman politics would interest me in the least. I had faith in Harris’ abilities so I picked it up anyways and I am glad that I did.
