Radiohead live from the Basement deput new song "Staircase".mp3

Radiohead keep up the surprises this year and have now uploaded a new track on YouTube. The song ‘Staircase’ is included in their From The Basement session.

Drummer Philip Selway writes: “And no, you’re not seeing double. The doppelganger drummers are myself and Clive Deamer. Clive has long been one of my favourite drummers and so I was really excited when he agreed to perform with us. Hope you like what we’ve all done.” You might know Clive Deamer from his work for Portishead, Roni Size and Robert Plant.

For those who want an mp3, download the song without the intro and outro. Cheers.

MCGC and a Radiohead Show

I went to an MCGC indoor drumline show the other week. Wasn't too impressed with any of the shows besides NorthCoast Academy's "Echo." Everything else bordered on boring because there was nothing new to me. Here is a poor quality video of "Echo" I took. Hopefully will get more, higher quality videos up when I get a new computer. Enjoy.

I heard about another group today that is doing an all Radiohead show. That is awesome. Here is their website: http://onyourvideotape.com/

I could do without the singing but this show overall is pretty cool because they've done a few things I haven't seen before, plus that snare solo at the end is pretty sweet. And I love that they squeezed in part of "Let Down" as that is one of my favorite songs of all time.

DCI All Star Review Videos

First (and possibly only) drum corp show of the year for me. I would much rather watch drumlines warm up in the lot then shell out a fortune for a ticket.
