This is by far the very best live recording I have heard of Jónsi in terms of quality. This latest show is just stunning and I am sure it will stand as a hallmark concert for many years to come. I love to hear how Jonsi takes the songs from the album and developes them over the length of the tour. The perfect example is one of the best tracks off of Go, which is Tornado. Jonsi Solo Album

Jón Þór Birgisson of Sigur Ros fame will be releasing a solo album entitled GoA free MP3 of the track "Boy Lilikoi" was made available to mailing list subscribers through his website. The MP3 announced gave a worldwide release date of 'the week of March 22, 2010' through XL Recordings, Ltd.http://www.jonsi.com/ You can also preview other songs on the site too. All sound simply amazing to me and I can't wait to listen to the album in full.

Huron \ Happiness

Check out my latest video "Huron \ Happiness." This footage has been laying around since last August when I spent a weekend near Lake Erie with my family. After several attempts to edit the footage and constant song choice changes, not to mention not having a computer for seven months, the film finally came together. "Happiness" by Riceboy Sleeps was the inspiration I needed to see the project through. I thought the original cut was boring and too repitive so I threw in a ton of effects for an arsty fartsy look (although some of the effects aren't very clear in this youtube version). Riceboy Sleeps

Jonsi, from Sigur Ros, and his boyfriend have teamed up to become Riceboy Sleeps. They've donated a new track to a charity album. "Happiness" is weird yet soothing. Take a listen over on the right hand side--->

B-E-A-UTIFUL

Sigur Ros built a marimba made out of rocks, how cool is that! You can see it in their "Heima" video, about forty something minutes in. "They perform with a stone marimba comprising individual rocks found by a quasi-hermit called Páll Gudmundson"
